Kaman & Cusimano Named a 2015 “Best Law Firm”

Kaman & Cusimano is pleased to announce that it has been named by U.S. News and World Report as a “2015 Best Law Firm” in the Ohio Real Estate practice area, achieving a Tier 3 rating. The ranking is based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys in our field, and review of additional information provided by our firm as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for this ranking, a law firm must have at least one lawyer included in “Best Lawyers” in that particular practice area and metro. For the past several years, our very own Jay Cusimano has been included on this list.

The 2015 “Best Law Firms” list relied on client feedback on firm practice groups, addressing expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether they would refer another client to the firm. Lawyers voted on the expertise, responsiveness, integrity, cost-effectiveness, whether they would refer a matter to a firm, and whether they consider a firm a worthy competitor. In addition to information from these surveys, the rankings incorporate the 5.5 million evaluations of 52,488 individual leading lawyers collected by Best Lawyers in its most recent annual survey. Our firm was then asked to provide general demographic and background information on the firm and attorneys, and other data that speaks to the strengths of our practice area.

This data was combined into an overall “Best Law Firms” score, and then compared with other firms in the same metropolitan area. Tiers are based on the score as a percentage of the highest-scoring firm. Kaman & Cusimano is proud to be included on this list, and looks forward to continuing our focus on our clients to ensure positive progression in the future.
